I was able to cash out my short overnight from Monday afternoon in the late morning session. I am grateful for that trade as I am for any nice trade. I also had quite a few things working in the equity index futures today. It was a fairly busy trading day for me. I had some other out side stuff going on as well with my wife’s car, lunch with a friend from a long, long time ago and the closing of our house next week. All in all I had a pretty busy day.
I continue to see an uptick in the interest for one of my managed accounts programs. I have received a number of requests for more info, but have yet to turn any of them into accounts. I am hopeful that I will be able to in the not so distant future.
We are heading into the mountains over the 4th. The home has no address. I can’t wait to just go get away from everything for a few days with some good friends. It’s 60 acres and there isn’t a soul around except for us. It should be very relaxing. I picked up a good CAO cigar and a six pack of an interesting Brazilian beer I’ve never heard of before. The only thing we are missing are the fireworks. We aren’t going through NC so we are having a hard time finding anything fun to blow up.
Have a great 4th and remember what we fought for!

Hi,
I was surfing the WordPress website, looking for a template. I’m going to start a blog for my disabled grandson, Drew. I came across your blog and I really liked your theme/template, so I’m wondering if you could tell me the name and where I could find it. (I assume I can use my own photograph at the top?)
Thanks!
Barb
PS Just so you know this is a legitimate request, I can direct you to Drew’s current website:
http://www.drewbie.info
I’ve used that one for a year and am excited about switching to WordPress.

Barb, the theme is called Press Row and yes you can use your own photo at the top. I had difficulty finding a photo I could use as the way you must crop it is very strange. It must be much longer than it is high. The picture I used was from a back country trip we took to the Grand Canyon. There are tons of different themes you can use and I think you can even make your own if you know how to do that or want to take the time to do it. I enjoy the wordpress format quite a bit, it’s sharp and super easy to work with. Thanks for stopping by.

Sam,
I’m brazilian, you know… What’s the beer you tasted?
Newton.

Newton I was hoping you stop by to tell me if it was a well known beer, but I have now forgotten the exact name. It had the word Louca in it. I am going to call my friend and see if he remembers or stop by the store where I picked it up.

The beer was “Palma Louca”
